To celebrate the impressive legacy of Hans J. Wegner, the CH24 Wishbone Chair and CH327 table have now been reintroduced in oiled teak with oiled oak details as originally designed. Teak is characterized by its high strength, stability and vivid color, which elegantly changes from greens and oranges to reddish-brown tones during its lifetime. Historically, teak was widely used in the 1950s and 1960s to make some of the first Wegner Mix chairs. As needed, the use of tropical teak shifted from indoor to outdoor furniture due to its high durability. Carl Hansen & Søn's investment in the purchase of teak from its own sawmill in Vietnam has resulted in teak interior furniture now being available with FSC™ certification. The CH327 dining table by Hans J. Wegner from 1962 is a good example of how creativity combined with excellent craftsmanship can lead to an extraordinary, interesting design. The elegant CH327 Table by Wegner is suitable both as a dining table and as a conference table. It can also be easily used as a desk.
