Originally created in 1971 by Verner Panton in collaboration with Louis Poulsen, Panthella is an exceptional design that not only reflects Panton's playful style, but also uses organic shapes to provide exceptional light. The hemispherical shade directs most of the light downwards, where it is reflected by the trumpet-shaped base, providing a soft, diffused light to the surroundings. The Panthella 250 table lamp is a scaled-down version with a shade measuring 250mm in diameter, which makes it ideal in many contexts.
