Holmegaard's annual Christmas bell, heart and star made in mouth-blown glass has become a regular collector's item in some homes. Behind the elegant suspension stands Danish designer Ann-Sofi Romme, who in 1993 created the first Holmegaard Christmas bell with motif. And since then it has become a whole collection consisting of bells, hearts, stars and bullets in mouth-blown glass that every year gets a new, beautiful Christmas motif. The 2023 collection celebrates the 30th anniversary with a special motif that ties the years together. Ann-Sofi Romme This year's Christmas star 2023 of 8.5 cm in diameter is in mouth-blown glass and adorned with the Christmas motif 2023-a Christmas wreath consisting of the flower from a Christmas star, a holly, a mistletoe and a Christmas tronipan. The colors are kept classic in red and gold and with a final metallic finish, and the small, red hearts create a cozy atmosphere for the feast of hearts. The graphic decoration is completely in line with both Christmas traditions and the color trend of the time with matching red silk cords that invite to hang on the tree, in the window and maybe in the middle of the door as a quirky invitation to mistletoe magic.
