The FLOWER TUBE collection is a series of vases in beautiful colours, designed for Studio About by architect Mikkel Lang Mikkelsen. The vases have a unique design and consist of a coloured cylinder that rests perfectly on a bearing transparent glass part. This vase is mouth-blown from borosilicate glass and is tremendously nice with small bouquets from the garden, cuttings or our paper flowers. Explore the full range of paper flowers. Please be aware that the top part of the glass is slightly fragile. Use extra care when you put the vase into use. The glass vase adds a splash of colour to the decor and whether it is placed on a table, on the windowsill or on a shelf, the individual silhouette and the clear pink glass capture the daylight in the most dazzling ways and casts evocative shadows. You can put flowers or plants in the Flower Tube vases and should you wish for a carefree decoration, you have the option to create a wonderful ambience by combining a few stalks of dried flowers with a handmade paper flower. The vase is beautiful but even more beautiful carrying a piece of nature. All our glass vases are crafted from borosilicate glass. This type of glass endures large temperature fluctuations, so you don’t have to worry about the glass bursting if you pour boiling water into them. The glass is also scratch-resistant, and the vase will maintain its beautiful rose colour. We recommend cleaning the vase with warm water and soap and if needed, a little regular vinegar. The vase can be dishwasher safe, but we do not recommend this as they may bump into other items and break.
