TABLEWARE is the new collection from Studio About, which consists of coloured water- and wineglasses and a ceramic set. This bowl is a part of the ceramic set CLAYWARE and comes in a set of two in the colour sand/grey. The ceramic bowl is partially glazed so that the inside is glazed with a grey glaze and the raw clay is kept on the outside, which creates a naked and stylish look. The collection is designed by Mikkel Lang Mikkelsen and is made from natural clay. The combination of the sand-coloured clay and the grey glazing makes the design of the bowl timeless and elegant. The minimalistic shape gives the bowl a light expression and the tactile, raw outside gives a luxurious feel. The bowl has a lovely size, perfect for breakfast, snacks and desserts. You can also be creative and use it for storage for your jewellery or other personal items. The timeless colour of the bowl makes it suitable for most homes. You can style the bowl with ceramics in other colours or coloured glass; the raw ceramic can for instance create a lovely contrast with our feminine coloured drinking glasses. The ceramic bowl is stackable to save space but is also decorative to have on display as a part of your home décor. The ceramic bowl is easily cleaned with water and soap and is also dishwasher proof. It can be used in the microwave and freezer as well, but is not suitable for oven use. The bowl is made out of natural clay, which means that the unglazed parts will get traces of usage. This is part of the design and will only add character to the bowl. The ceramic is safe for food, including acid. The ceramic bowl is available in the colours TERRACOTTA/RED, IVORY/LIGHT YELLOW and TERRAOTTA/ LIGHT BLUE and is also available as plates and cups.
