Tech-savvy enthusiasts of the 1930s loved speeding around the club tracks in the legendary B.B. Korn cars. Called Tether Cars or Spindizzies, they reached incredible speeds and inspired thousands to improvements and inventions. The founder of the B.B. Korn Manufacturing Company, Barney Korn, produced several Tether Car models that today fetch astonishing sums of money as vintage antiques at auctions. For his clients' children, Mr. Korn designed and built "The Indianapolis," a pre-war non-powered giveaway. It should inspire children and encourage them to participate in motor activities. Our Indy toy car pays homage to Korn's legacy with a detailed dashboard, rubber tires and a hand-polished aluminum body.
