Classic Christmas decorations with artistic edge. Rosendahl's Karen Blixen's Christmas is for many the epitome of the cozy and traditional Christmas - full of history and Christmas symbolics that make the Christmas joy last until Christmas Eve. Ole Kortzau made his first Karen Blixen Christmas decorations back in 2007. And every year, new suspensions come up with the special handmade quality created with care and eye for the detail to such an extent that each hanging appears as a small work of art in itself , coated with real silver and gold. The 2023 collection contains, among other things, this silver-plated double heart, where Ole Kortzau embraces an indispensable element of Christmas-love. Like the other small hangings in the series, it is approx. 7 cm in height and works perfectly as a window decoration. The motives in Karen Blixen's Christmas are often a declaration of love for the children's perspective on Christmas. But even though Ole Kortzau's Christmas stories are based on reality, they are not reality. Therefore, there is also always a little bit of the motifs. They are always a little crooked, a little ingenious. Ole Kortzau wants us to stop, take a break - and discover all the classic characters in a different way. The trained eye will also notice that the two hearts in the double -hearted with the designer's own words are 'completely wind and crooked'.
