May 17 is a day of joyful celebration throughout Norway. With their smiling faces, Kay Bojesen's Bunad figures are perfect for putting on the table on this national holiday – or on other festive occasions with friends and family. Inspired by the traditional Norwegian Bunad costume and the traditions of the many different regions of Norway, the Norsk Bunad woman represents Norway as a whole. She wears a white shirt under the floor-length dress, embellished with embroidery, silver details and a belt at the waist. Both the shape and the hairstyle of the woman correspond to Kay Bojesen's original designs from the archive. The female Bunad figure measures 16 cm, is turned from FSC-certified beech and is produced in the high-quality craftsmanship typical of all wooden figures by Kay Bojesen. Colour: Black/red/white Material: Painted beech Dimensions: H 16 cm
