It took three years and 150 workers before the bridge could be tested by 48 fully loaded trucks. The bridge crosses the waters of the Limfjord and connects Aalborg, which is the largest city in North Jutland, with its nearest neighbour Nørresundby. There is something magical about bridges, although they simply connect landmarks. They also symbolize the transition to something new, while at the same time testifying to great engineering.
