The characteristic pendant lamp Sundowner was designed by Jørn Utzon in 1948 and is characterized by its construction with the four lampshades and how the shape is elegantly accentuated by the light. This design, with its rounded shape and lampshades pointing in opposite directions, was conceived before Utzon's architectural masterpiece, the Sydney Opera House. The Sundowner pendant lamp is dynamically designed and shows a clear connection with the unique shell structure that has shaped Sydney Harbour for more than half a century.
